Step 2: Explore Summit Lodging Options
The iconic Sun Valley Resort is generously opening their world-class property to the MT2030 community and extending deeply discounted lodging rates across a variety of room types exclusively for Summit attendees.
We strongly encourage participants to stay on-site. When we're all in one place – sharing meals, conversations, and time between sessions – the Summit experience deepens. The relationships built outside the meeting room are often the ones that move this work forward.
To explore room options and reserve your lodging, click the link above. You'll be directed to a dedicated reservation page for Summit attendees. For lodging questions, contact Carol Craig.

Travel
Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) is located about 15 minutes from the resort and offers direct flights from several major hubs. This is the most convenient option for attendees flying in.
Sun Valley Resort provides complimentary shuttle service to and from SUN for guests of Sun Valley Lodge and Sun Valley Inn. Reservations required — email your arrival and departure details to svshuttle@sunvalley.com or call the Bellman at 208-622-2122. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
Staying elsewhere, or want a free option? Mountain Rides also offers a free Airport Shuttle between SUN and the Wood River Valley.
Boise Airport (BOI) is approximately 2.5–3 hours from Sun Valley by car. Some attendees choose to fly into Boise and rent a car for the scenic drive north.
Sun Valley Express offers a once-daily shuttle service between Boise Airport and the Sun Valley Lodge. Advance tickets are required. Travel time is approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes.
Sun Valley is accessible by car from across the region. Driving can offer flexibility for those coming from nearby mountain communities.
When you visit Sun Valley, getting around the area is easy — there's no need to rent a car. The free Mountain Rides bus system provides convenient transportation throughout Ketchum and the Sun Valley Resort area, with buses arriving as frequently as every 15 minutes.
The Sun Valley Resort is located just over one mile from downtown Ketchum. A well-maintained bike and pedestrian path connects the resort directly to town. Because the area is part of a Dark Sky Reserve, carry a flashlight or headlamp if walking at night.
Uber and Lyft do operate in the valley, but availability can be limited and service is generally not considered reliable.
For a car-free option to get around on your own schedule, Drop Mobility offers shared e-bikes throughout the valley.
